Propane Safety

Keeping You Safe Is Our Top Priority

At Absolute Propane, your safety comes first. Propane is a clean, efficient fuel—but like any energy source, it must be handled with care. That’s why we go beyond just delivery—we take time to educate our customers, inspect systems thoroughly, and ensure your propane setup is operating safely and correctly.

We want you to feel confident and secure using propane in your home or business.

Propane Safety Basics

What to Do if You Smell Gas:

If you ever detect the strong smell of propane (like rotten eggs), follow these steps immediately:

  • Leave the area right away.
  • Avoid using phones, light switches, or electronics.
  • Shut off the gas supply at the tank if it is safe to do so.
  • Call Absolute Propane at 512-266-7383 or dial 911 from a safe location.
